Kids' Horse Club
Twice a month! Come and join in the fun!
Horse Club is an excellent way to see if your child likes horses and as an introduction to our Lesson Program:
When: Twice a month on select Saturdays, 9am-11am.
Where: Patterson Training Main Barn - 272 S Sprague Drive, Star Valley, AZ 85541
Why: To learn to ride a horse, learn about horses - and have fun!
Who: Minimum age of 5 years old.
What: Program comprises:
- practical grooming and tacking up of horse/ untacking and putting away, feeding treats
- short horse ride with instruction (minimum 20 minutes)
Cost: $10 per child per week. No term commitment, but must sign up in advance.
Parents: Welcome to stay and watch kids horse riding lessons or drop off and collect at end of session. Siblings under 5 years old are welcome to stay with parent - they may not take part in the program.
What to bring: Dress in long pants, shoe or boot with a heel. Bring snack and water. Coat and gloves in winter.
Riding Helmets: Wearing a helmet when riding is compulsory. Helmets provided.
